Terms and condition of E-Dir’s provided service
These Terms and Conditions set out your legal rights and obligations in using the E-Dir Money Transfer Service, Airtime Top Up. We recommend you read these carefully.
Terms and Condition of our services:
1. Overview and terms and conditions of agreement
1.1 These Agreement, Terms and Conditions govern the terms under which you may access and use this website and the services associated with it.

1.2 By using and accessing or using our service via our online platform you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of the Terms and Conditions. If you do not wish to bound by the terms and conditions, do not access, register with or use the service.
1.3 The terms and conditions are written in English and all the instructions shall be in English.
1.4 A copy of this agreement can be obtained by any customer by asking us to send a copy by email.
1.5 In this agreement the Terms refer we, us and us refer to as “E-Dir”. Companies house registered address is 112-114 Vine Court, Shadwell, London, England, E1 1JE, England. Companies house incorporation Number ADD HERE. Edir ltd is authorised and regulated by financial conduct authority under the payment service regulation 2017.
1.6 This terms and conditions and contract are effective on the date you register with us and will continue for an indefinite period, until terminated by you or us. Our Online payment service platform was created to give our customer the best customer service by allowing them to send money conveniently to from family and friends, around the world.
1.7 All references in our Terms (unless otherwise stated)
(a) To a person or persons shall include any natural person, company, firm, partnership, trust, public body or other organization;
(b) To “clauses” are to clauses of our Terms;
(c) To any legislation (including statutes, statutory instruments, statutory provisions regulations) shall include them as amended or re-enacted from time to time
(d) Made in the singular shall include the plural and vice versa.
2. Definitions
In these terms and conditions
“Proscribed purpose” means any unlawful purpose; the purpose of making or receiving payment for gambling services, gambling chips or gambling credits; the purpose of making or receiving payment for banking or other financial services; or the purpose of sending a payment to yourself as the recipient;
“Receiver” means the person identified as the beneficiary of a money transfer (whether that money transfer is initiated by a sender using the Service or by a person using another money transmission service);
“Sender” means the person who initiates the carrying out of a money transfer by using Service;
“Authorized person” is the person who is formally and properly empowered to perform on behalf of the sender.
“Transaction” means each money transfer that you initiate under, and each other use that you make of, the Service;
“Business Day” means any day on which we are open for business as required for the execution of the payment instruction or request.
“Instruction” means a payment request or a payment instruction as the case may be.
“Payment instruments” means a payment device such as a debit card, credit card, or a Digital money account
“Service” means any or all of the services for money transfer which are made available by us;
“Payment request” means a specific instruction from you (or a third-party provider on your behalf) to a sender asking them to send you money
“TUN REF” means the unique transaction number which will be issued to you and which the recipient will required to provide in order to authorize us or our agents to make payment to the recipient; and
“Value Date”: Means the date on which a transaction takes place
“Website” means our public website.
3. Verification and check
3.1 We will verify your residential address and personal details in order to confirm your identity.
3.2 In order to do further check we may also check your information through credit reference agencies. Be assured that this is done only to confirm your identity and that we do not perform credit checks and therefore your credit rating will be unaffected.
3.3 All information provided by you will be treated securely and strictly in Under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
3.4 By accepting these Terms and Conditions you authorise us to make any inquiries we consider necessary to validate the information that you provide to us. We may do this directly, for example by asking you for additional information, or requiring you to take steps to confirm ownership of your Payment Instruments or email address; or indirectly, for example by verifying your information against third party databases or through other sources.
4. Data Protection and Confidentiality
4.1 4.1 We E-Dir will only use the personal information that you have provide us to enable us to make the transfer or to inform you about the similar service which we provide that you may be interested in. Unless you tell us that you do not want to receive such information about our service.
4.2 4.2 We E-Dir will not share any of your information to any third party unless it is necessary to provide you the service that you have instructed. However, we may pass your details to credit reference agencies as you agreed and acknowledge for the propose of checking your identity.
5. Provision and use of our Services E-Dir’s Obligation
5.1 Subject to the terms of the agreement we agree to provide the services to our customer using the reasonable care.
5.2 We aim to provide high standard of customer service in all our offered products and services. But this service may not be available in whole world or in certain parts of any country or Jurisdictions.
5.3 We are not obliged to process any transaction which we understand not compliant with our AML guideline and threshold policy. When you submit a transaction request, you are requesting that we process the transaction on your behalf and consenting to execution of the transaction.
5.4 We may in our sole discretion, choose whether to accept the offer to process that transaction. If we decide not to process the transaction, we will notify you promptly of that decision and repay to your transaction amount deducting the service charge. If we choose to process with the Transaction, we may still suspend or cancel it in our discretion.
5.5 E-Dir reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service or any part of the service without notice at any time from time to time.
5.6 We may, in our absolute discretion, refuse any Transaction Request or impose limits on the Transaction Amount. We may do so either on a per Transaction basis or on an aggregate basis, and either in respect of one set of registration details or one Payment Instrument or on related sets of registration details or Payment Instruments.
5.7 Delivery times quoted on our service levels or elsewhere on our website are representative for the “normal” / average service and are not a guarantee of an individual Service or Transaction time.
5.8 E-Dir aim to complete the transaction in due time, however if the transaction gets delay or cancel for reasons associated with the customer, we are not liable for this delay and we will contact you (customer) accordingly.
5.9 We will attempt to process Transactions promptly, but any Transaction may be delayed or cancelled for a number of reasons including but not limited to: our efforts to verify your identity; to validate your Transaction instructions; to contact you; or due to variations in business hours and currency availability; or otherwise to comply with applicable law.
5.10 We may send and receive notifications in relation to Transactions by email and SMS. We will provide you with information after receipt of a Transaction Request enabling you to identify the Transaction, along with details of the amount of the Transaction in the currency used in the Transaction Request, our Service Fee, exchange rate and the date on which the Transaction Request was received.
5.11 We will attempt to provide Senders and Recipients with up to date information regarding the location and opening hours of our Service Providers by means of information on our website.
5.12 In the event you have provided us with an incorrect unique identifier in respect of a Transaction which falls under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 and your Transaction has been misdirected, you may make a written request for the full details of the Payee by contacting us using one of the channels listed at the end of these Terms and Conditions and we will provide you with such details to the extent required and permitted by law.
5.13 (a)We do not take responsibility for Malfunctions in communications facilities which cannot reasonably be considered to be under our control and that may affect the accuracy or timeliness of messages you send to us;
(b) Any losses or delays in transmission of messages arising out of the use of any Internet access service provider or caused by any browser or other software which is not under our control.
5.14 We will not deliver the requested service if
(a) we are unable to obtain satisfactory evidence of your identity from the document that been provided to us
(b) We have reason to believe that the transaction message is incorrect, unauthorized or forged
(c) You provide us with incorrect or incomplete information or if your send order is not given to us sufficiently in advance to allow for timely provision of the requested transaction, and we do not accept any liability for damages resulting from non-payment or delay in payment of a money transfer to a recipient or failure to perform a transaction under the Service by reason of any of these matters.
6. Customer obligations (Your obligations)
6.1 You agree that: You will not access use or attempt to use the service to provide any instruction unless you are at least 18 years of old. And that you have the legal capacity to from a binding legal contract in any relevant Jurisdiction.
6.2 For every transaction request that you submit, you will pay us the service fee in addition to the transaction amount. Payment becomes due at the time that you submit your Transaction Request.
6.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Fee is non-refundable unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions. If you submit a Transaction Request that results in E-Dir becoming liable for charges including but not limited to chargeback or other fees, you agree to reimburse us for all such fees.
6.4 We May Apply a convenience fee for processing credit cards in certain jurisdiction at our discretion.
6.5 In connection with your registration and use of the Service, you will
(a) Provide us with true, accurate, current and complete evidence of your identity, and promptly update your personal information if and when it changes
(b) Provide us with any identity documentations as may be requested by us
(c) Provide us with details of one or more Payment Instruments;
(d) Provide us with true, accurate, current and complete information as we indicate on the website is required to receive the Service and any other information which may be required in relation to the Recipient;
(e) You provide us with:
(i) Any other information that must be provided for a Transaction Request to be properly executed, as specified when you enter the details of the Transaction you are interested in on our website;
6.6 When you are using the Service under these Terms and Conditions, it is your responsibility to make sure all the details are accurate before submission. Once a Transaction Request has been received it is not normally possible to change any details of that Transaction Request. You will be given the opportunity to confirm Transaction Requests before submission and you must check the details carefully.
6.7 The total amount (the Transaction Amount, Service Fee and other applicable fees and charges) that you will be required to pay and the relevant exchange rate will be displayed clearly on the website before you are asked to confirm your Transaction and proceeding with the Transaction at this point is entirely optional.
6.8 You will only use the Service to send money to people that you know personally and not to pay for goods or services from third parties you do not know and trust. You acknowledge that E-Dir may refuse to process your Transaction Request where we believe you are using the Service to purchase goods or services from third parties you do not know and trust or where we believe that the Service is being used, by you or the Recipient, in furtherance of fraudulent, illegal or prohibited activities. If you choose to pay third parties for goods and services using the Service, you acknowledge that E-Dir has no control over, and is not responsible for, the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of such goods or services and that any such use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.
6.9 In using the Service, you will comply with these Terms and Conditions as well as any applicable laws, rules or regulations. It is a breach of these Terms and Conditions to use the Service to send Transaction Amounts:
- (i) to a Payee who has violated the Terms and Conditions, or
- In connection with illegal activity including but not limited to money-laundering, fraud and the funding of terrorist organisations. If E-Dir reasonably believes you are using the Service in connection with illegal activity or for any fraudulent purpose, or are permitting a third party to do so, E-Dir may report you to the appropriate legal authorities.
6.10 You acknowledge that nothing in these Terms and Conditions or in any other information provided by E-Dir as part of the Service is intended to be, nor should it be construed to be, legal or other advice. If required, you agree to consult your own professional advisers as to the effects of English or foreign laws which may apply to the Service.
7. Making a Remittance Request
7.1 A customer must not submit a payment request to the people they do not Know personally.
7.2 When submitting a remittance request to us you as a customer requesting us to process the payment on behalf of you and giving us consent to contacting the sender for the purpose of the payment request. A payment request will be treated as being received by E-Dir once you submit it to us by using the online portal of E-Dir. When we send a Payment Request by SMS text message to a Sender on your behalf, we may use the mobile telephone number associated with your account for this purpose (i.e. the Payment Request we send will show as being sent from your mobile telephone number).
8.0 Information We need to process the payment request

For payment in some countries different set of information may be required. E-Dir will let the customer know if this is the case before initiating the payment request.
9.0 Money Transfer Service- E-Dir’s Responsibility
9.1 Before agreeing to undertake a transaction, we will provide you with a draft contract or payment order which, together with these Terms and condition will set out the information which we are obliged to provide to you”
9.2 The maximum total fee that the sender will be charged by us, together with a breakdown where applicable. If we believe that person to whom you send the money may also have to pay a fee, then we will tell you.
9.3 An indication of the exchange rate that we will apply to your transaction, or the reference exchange rate upon which the actual exchange rate will be based. If a further exchange rate may be applied, we will tell you to expect this.
9.4 Information on where the person should collect the money from and what they have to do, if it is to be made available in cash
9.5 An indication of the maximum time that it will take for the transaction to be completed – i.e. the time until funds will be available to the person to whom you are sending the money.
9.6 Information on cancellation procedures and any charges for cancelling or amending a transaction
9.7 If we are in receipt of your onward payment instructions by the Value Date and time we specify, as soon as practicable after the Value Date (or, if the Value Date is not a Business Day, as soon as practicable after the first Business Day following the Value Date); or
9.8 If we are not in receipt of your onward payment instructions by the Value Date and time we specify, as soon as practicable after we have received your onward payment instructions, but you should be aware that it can take more than 5 (five) Business Days for the funds to clear, depending on local banking arrangements.
10 Fees and charges
10.1 There will be a service charge applicable in all payment instruction given by the customers (In details will be explained in the portal) payment for the service fee will become due at the time that you submit your payment Instruction.
10.2 If a payment instruction submitted by a customer that result in us becoming liable for changes the customer must reimburse us for all such fees.
11. After Transaction E-Dir will provide the followings;
11.1 A transaction reference number that is unique to your payment
11.2 Confirmation of the exact amount we are sending for you
11.3 The charges or fees that you have paid to us for this service, together with breakdown where applicable.
11.4 The amount of the Transaction in the currency used in the payment order.
11.5 The amount of the Transaction in the currency in which the Recipient will receive the money.
11.6 The date on which we received the payment order from the Sender.
11.7 The exchange rate that has been applied to your transaction
11.8 Information on where the person to whom you are sending the money can collect it or confirmation of the bank to which the money has been sent.
12. Our Right to block the access of online portal Use
12.1 We E-Dir Reserves the right to stop or block access to a customer portal if we suspect any abnormality to the account or in the following set of circumstances;
(a) If notified by customer or E-Dir reasonable believe that the details been used to access the portal has been lost stolen or compromised without the customer authorization or used fraudulently
(b) E-Dir is obliged by law, regulation or order of court to stop or block the access if it requires to do so.
(c) E-Dir reserve the right to block the access to any third-party provider if E-Dir reasonable believes that the access to the portal by the third-party provider or any instruction we receive from them is unauthorized or Fraudulent.
13. Compliance at the core of E-Dir’s Money Remittance
13.1 E-Dir only executes trades when we satisfy with the compliance proceedings, as compliance is the heart of our quick, simple and hassle-free service. As a part of our compliance policy we E-Dir fully compliant with our ‘’know your clients’’ requirements in order to verify the authenticity of everyone before we offer any of our services.
13.2 E-Dir compliance department aims to ensure that the correct application of laws, rules and regulations are implemented according to the guideline of the supervisors and other regulatory authority (E.G. FCA and HMRC).
13.3 E-Dir is also competent in the co-ordination, implementation and execution of the plan for the prevention and combating money laundering and financing of terrorism.
13.4 Furthermore, E-Dir has the responsibility to execute its policies’ in order to comply with national and international laws and regulation. In order to carry out a continual management of compliance the followings are performed.
(a) Ensuring that the policies and guidance of the governing bodies and senior personnel and other employees of the company is in conformity with the legal provision, the statues and the rules standard regulations and guidelines of the relevant regulatory and supervisory entities.
(b) Ensuring the internal policies and guidelines are being complied all time.
14. Changes to the terms and condition of the agreement
14.1 E-Dir reserve the right to change remove, add and edit any of the terms and condition of the agreement with the customer at any time. These changes may include but not limited to
(a) E-Dir can change the terms of the contract to make the terms clearer and fairer to customer or to benefit the customer
(b) Changing or withdrawing the portal for services that we provide
(c) Introduce new service or a revised service fee
14.2 E-Dir can make the changes to the terms of the agreement in any of the following cases
(a) to reflect the changes in the company structure or the management team including board of director which might lead to changes in the terms of the agreement service that we provide.
(b) In order to reflect any changes in the Law, Regulation, Ombudsman, Regulator or Government body, code of practice or guidance which is designed to enhance customer protection.
14.3 E-Dir reserve the right to amend, add remove the terms of the agreement if E-Dir reasonable believes that the changes in the terms and condition will help the organization to bring the new service and the functionality into its portal.
14.4 E-Dir obliged to comply with the regulation, conde of practice and recommendation and practice of the industry which might lead to changes in the terms of the agreement as it happens.
15 Termination of the contract
15.1 E-Dir reserve the right to terminates any contract at any time if E-Dir reasonable believes that any breach of the agreements terms and conditions done by a customer.
15.2 A customer has the right to terminates the agreement with one months’ notice if they want to not to take our services any longer. Or unless we have broken the terms of the agreement in a serious way where customer has the right to terminate the contract within a reasonable period of time requested by the customer.
15.3 If E-Dir reasonable believes that a security of our portal breach or attempt to breach through unauthorised log in or data access modifying or attempting to modify the information of our portal. Attempting to introducing viruses or trojan horses, worms, or any other damaging programs or testing security in any way E-Dir will terminates the agreement with no further delay and necessary legal action will be taken in such case.
